Gayle Jameson is a Nurse Practitioner who has cared for adults living with cancer for approximately 30 years. Mrs. Jameson is certified as an Advanced Oncology Nurse (AOCN) and is especially interested in symptom management. She is leading the Supportive Care Division of TGen Clinical Research Services (TCRS) at Scottsdale Healthcare. Research priorities include muscle weakness, fatigue, weight loss, anorexia and pain that are associated with cancer and/or related treatments. Gayle collaborates on all ongoing clinical trials and serves as the Co-Principal Investigator on the first supportive care trial at TCRS with Eli Lilly. Previous to her recruitment to TCRS, Gayle had various nursing roles at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Later as a Nurse Practitioner, she was employed at Medical Center Clinic, P.C. and Allegheny Hematology Oncology Associates in Pittsburgh.
Gayle earned a nursing diploma at St. Francis Hospital, New Castle, PA, a baccalaureate and master's degree in Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AACN), and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). She has also been an active volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America and the American Cancer Society.
